As I’m nearing the end of my high school career, I believe College of Charleston is my top option. I want to pursue a fishing-orientated career and figure Charleston would be the best place to start. I know there is a collegiate FLW league for bass fishing for some colleges around the U.S. but was curious if anyone knew of any saltwater-fishing clubs at CofC? Or if the creation of such a club or a FLW collegiate saltwater division are viable ideas? Any input is appreciated, thanks.
No saltwater clubs at CofC. It would be a good thing to try to get started. You can probably get alumni to help the initial funding of the club.

They do have a sailing club. You could always take it and troll a rod.

Fishing Career? I would have some sort of fall back that allows you to make money, which would in turn allow you to fish more! Maybe Obamba can fund this for you, he seems to have lots of money for things that don’t matter!

Mostly I think that this is all oriented toward Bass Angling and freshwater.
