Cold and Rainey

The weather man really blew the forecast today. I had been looking forward to getting out all week. When i woke up it was raining, not sunny like the forecast had said as late as ten last night. My partner in crime today (MBrady) decided it was going to day for the indoors and so did I untill I went downstairs. I looked out the front door and saw an awesome rainbow. I decided it was a sign.

It rained on me for all of but the first part of the day but luckly it never rained hard. I had a hard time spotting anything today because of the broken up water surface but i was able to make out wakes when I got to close to a school. I would cast about thirty or so feet ahead of the direction they were moving and very slowly work my baits. The first 4 or 5 fish i hooked up today came unbuttoned bc I was has having a hard time picking up the bite it was so light. I decided the next fish i felt I was going to “Bill Dance” him. Sure enough i did not lose another fish. I managed around 20 reds today. Got to love rainbows.
