Cold Monday morning

I was on the water by 645am. It was cold at the ramp but out on that cold water with a slight breeze it felt 10 degrees colder. Ran fast (cold is cold once you get over 20mph) to my 1st spot with no luck so decided to try back once the tide fell. Next spot was overrun with dolphins cruising both sides of the bank. Scouted a couple new spots & then back to the 1st with no luck. Tried a few more new spots but nothing. Wind would pick up & die down & I was still frozen until 1030 or so. Called it a day & headed home around noon. It was nice though only say 4 boats the whole time & 2 were sail boats on the ICW.
Was hoping to at least get a bite or something since I won’t be back until March.

Better than yard work or sitting on the couch rotting away. March is usually so tough you might as well just wait til April haha :+1:

…well, some fishing too!

I agree, a day on the water is way better than a day at work.
We have a camping trip in March & taking the boat. If the fishing sucks we can do some scouting for potential new fishing spots.
