Weather keeping us on the hill lately, had to venture out just to post! Ride out was a little snotty but Jordans new ride handled the seas well, James picked out a good one for Jordan to learn on.Cold but doable and first dive we had about 4/5’ viz, bottom temp 63 and surface @66. we hit another area and the viz was a little better and put a good grouper in the livewell. Eric and jordan hit another spot and added a few more and missed a few others but the viz was not any better. was good to get out and if it stays calm for the next week maybe the viz will improve before the water gets any colder, its here early this year. Had a good day with my son up for thanksgiving and will try again next weekend.
Deep and yes the viz sucked from 60’ well past 100. It would vary between 5 and 15’ during a single dive.
Didn’t see the first lionfish despite checking places that we normally find dozens. I guess they all ran way deep for the winter. Sadly I couldn’t fill the GF’s request for a few tiger striped sea bass.
Congrats on those pigs!Glad you go to break in your boat in style. I still have your jacket, so maybe next Monday I’ll finally drop it off. I’ll call you Sunday.

Nice fish! I was out yesterday bottom bumping for work and dropped a gopro to the bottom in 120’.Vis looked to be around 20’ or so but it was really cloudy so the light was not good. Hoping to get out this weekend!
