Just curious what y’all are wearing for cold water yak fishing. I’m shopping now for the gear and the main concerns are dry feet and staying dry from paddle drip. I know I need to be prepared for a dunk but I hope not to do that. Mostly looking at the tidal river fishing and maybe the sounds.
Right now my front runners are Kokatat whirlpool bibs or Gill cruise trousers. Chota knee high mukluks for the launch and a splash jacket and PFD of course.
Hard to think about when it’s 80° but the water’s getting cold and I hear the siren’s call to get back on the Cooper River…
