Made my annual trip down to the Colleton River this past week. Shrimped in a few different places with the same results. Strong first run right after dark regardless of tide position that tapered off quickly. Size of the shrimp was mixed but better than last year. I actually had some shrimp big enough to stuff with crab meat, wrap with bacon and grill but not many. We made about 7 passes of the poles per night and stopped averaging 1/2 cooler.
Talked to a few persons who had been out on Gilbert Flat and caught nothing.
