Colorado.

Just got back from 9 days of fishing in Colorado. First time fly fishing trout ever. Saw some monsters on the Taylor, Roaring Fork and the Colorado. Ended up catching around 30 between 3 of us. I lost plenty more than I caught (including a nice 20"+ that broke popped the tippet on the taylor my last day) mainly because I couldnt figure out how to set the hook until the last two days. Ill have pictures and and article posted later.

Looking forward to seeing/reading about it, Trey. Now that you’re back, let’s go try to kill something.

Colorado is a wonderful place. The problem is that so many of their great rivers like the frying pan, etc, are posted, and private…last time I was there we had conflicting reports as to whether the creek running thru the Vail golf course was private or not. We were told by a local we could fish it, and we did. We slayed the fish. Lots of great places to fish, but if I were going to fish as a destination, I would go to Montana or Wyoming.
