Comanche and Y-73

Fished the two reefs Wednesday, and picked up a bunch of peanut dolphin and one nice 20 lb bull at the Comanche. Two kings and AJ’s at the Y-73. Fished naked ballyhoo and skirted ballyhoo with red and black “Dolphin Catcher” skirts. Wire leaders are IMPORTANT. Also saw a few huge reef donkeys on the Y-73. They’re out there, and biting hard in the morning.

“Man: Your eyes are so beautiful, your skin is so soft…your absolutley gorgeous.” “Girlfriend: Are you talking about me or the fish!!!”

Reef Donkey’s??? Elaborate please.

How is their tablefare? Or how do you cook them?

“Finomenal”
'32 Wellcraft Scarab

There table fare is not so good… The larger ones tend to be filled with worms and paracites but i hear you can trade them at the dock for a boat wash!

they love them in the gulf but they hate trigger fish and spanish mack.

From reds to marlin you got it.
2001 210 Sea Fox
2009 Yamaha F150

2009 Skeeter 24V
2009 Yamaha F300 V8

You need to add an “IMO” next to your comment. I’m from Destin/P-cola and some of our favorite table fares are Spanish Mack and Triggers! Actually IMO and many friends and family we think trigger is the best table fare. Also the AJ’s in the gulf don’t have any worms and have a better taste. Still a little fishy but nothing like in the Atlantic.

fresh, fried they are good…if your having a cookout most would never know if they were eating grouper or AJ…

BSB IMO out of the atlantic have the best taste. Most clean, least fishy of all.
