Just inshore of it and north of it is all good live bottom that kings and dolphin should be on right now; maybe even a sailfish or 3. Start out trolling and mark good looking bottom on your GPS to go back to and bottom fish. You might see a good bit of decent bottom, but a good tip right now is to only fish where you see good bottom, fish, and a lot of bait (clouds of it). Fishing will be best there.
The comanche itself can be a hard target to get exactly right on to bottom fish, so you can try the other artificial stuff near it that’s more spread out too- check out the DNR’s artificial reef site for coordinates.

how does the weather for tomorrow look. We were thinking of trying commanche today but it was pretty bad outside. We may try to go out to commanche tomorrow. We are in a smaller boat, but if the weather is good we are going to try it. Where are you heading out from? and what time etc?
