What Sman said. Search around for a deep hole in an eddy. Live Shiners under a cork have always been best for me. Bass and Mudfish also enjoy them. Also don’t rule out a striper this time of year. The area around the Tea house is a good spot.
For Crappy I’ve done better in the Edisto. Put in at Westbank and run up river towards 17 fish around the train bridge.
