Any reports on Combahee River - Steel Bridge??
i would love some reports from the steel bridge guys, anybody got anything?
might as well be dead up here if i cant find that live bottom
no fish in the combahee…biological desert!

Calibogue is trying to help you eliminate certain unproductive waters in advance of any fishing trips so you don’t waste time and money dragging your boat down this way. He simply points out that there is no reason to fish the combahee since there are no fish in those waters. His reference to the biological desert is a true statement since the combahee is located only a few miles north of the Savannah River system which drains an area know as the Barnwell Nuclear Waste Dump located upcountry from the mouth of the Savannah River. The combahee’s proximity to the toxic waters has all but elminated life in the entire chain . . . but then you know ole Calibogue - he may just not want others dabblin about in his fishin holes so he just might be trying to throw you off a bit . . . Naaaa . . .can’t be, can it? I don’t think so. Biological desert - that’s what it is.
You know I guess the days of getting an intelligent answer are gone by the wayside.
