Timed the weather perfectly with a late start and early return 7-2. Trolled live menhaden at Commanche in hopes of catching another big mercury laden inedible king. First hour was busy with lots of hits, runs and errors. We did manage 1 1/2 decent kings and 2 donkeys but the 40lb stranded wire 30 second king rigs need upgrading. The highlight was an AJ feeding festival at the surface for a good minute or so. Unfortunately we were hooked up at the time and unable to get close enough to join the fun. Anchored up poorly a couple of times and loaded up on sharpnose. Weather was beautiful.
