Commanche and beyond 7-28

Took a new friend from the neighborhood fishing yesterday. He has prostrate and bone cancer, had not fished in a long time and had never trolled ballyhoo before. So we spent some time around Commanche learning how to tangle lines and harass cudas.

After a couple of hours and too many cudas, we headed out to the ledge mid-day. Landed one slinger dolphin, back to the ramp around 4:30. Great day getting to know my neighbor.

i hope he does better, and hopefully next time you have more action on the 'phins and maybe some smokers.
