Hey everyone, was hoping for some advice here. I purchased a new boat and it has a 2014 Yamaha F150. It came with the round analog Yamaha gauges, but would like to upgrade to Command Link gauges or the Multi-function gauges. My question is, are the new F150 motors “command link” ready? What kind of wiring is required? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just tie it to your GPS/Sounder/whatever. The interface is nice and you can output all of the info you want on your screen. I had to keep on of my gauges, I can’t remember which one, to keep the interpretation of the fuel level I think on the NMEA network.
Firefighter, check out the two links below. Yamaha gives a nice rigging diagram and parts list of what you will need. The command link gauges involves you getting the multi-hub assembly. But these are nice as it gives you the fuel management data. Look at page 2-7 and 2-10 on the bottom of the page in the book itself:
Thanks a bunch everyone. I was just wondering if I was able to buy the gauges and do it myself or if I needed to take it to a shop. Also, I wondered if you could do it through a gps/sounder but I don’t believe mine is compatible to show gauges and buying one just to show gauges would probably be more expensive than just getting the gauges themselves.
