Is there a company in South Carolina that does stainless steel casting? Please PM me if you know of someone. Want to stay local.

Thanks

Cast iron ; cast alum ; cast bronze ; I’m not sure stainless can
be cast. Never heard of it that I recall!!:question::question::question:

Come on Gail!! How do you think all metals parts are formed? By casting! :smiley:

Yep, if you can heat it to liquid, you can pore it into a mold and you have cast!

Fred;;
Never said it couldn’t be done just said I’ve never seen or heard of
stainless or hot or cold roll steel being cast;; all castings I’ve ever delt with are usually porius metals . metals such as steels are as I understand are poured as liquid into ingots,sheets,bars,ect,ect and then machined to shape, mixed metals maybe , might be wrong and would really like to know!!! Got a metalurgest out there???
