For those of you that use a compass on your smart phones. Which version do you use? Was looking at the apps for my droid and there are a whole lot of different versions.

Just like to know which direction I’m headed when walking into the woods so I know which way to get out lol. Getting a little short minded some times. Hate to go for a nature stroll and get turned around.

They make a device called backtrack. It’s worth a look. I carry one coon hunting along with the old timey compass. I’ve walked a many miles with red in black out and havnt been lost but a few times. Lol

I use the scout look hunting app. You can mark locations,it has gps build in as well as mapping.
