Anyone have time for a a quick lesson? I know to put gauge in spark plug holes, and understand I should look for similar pressure on all cylinders. Do you just turn motor over and check gauge and go to the next one? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
1.remove all spark plugs
2.open throttle plate (give it gas in neutral)
3.screw compression gauge into spark plug hole
4.turn key and try to start motor for about 5 seconds
5.look at gauge and record results
6. repeat
all numbers should ber within 10-15%
actual PSI will vary between motors and gauges
Thanks Chris V, for all your help on this forum!
