My wife doesn’t watch this site, but as this thread has gone on I’ve showed her some of the pics so she’s know how good I am, and I’ve told her about how many pages it has grown to. She just sat down, read all 13 pages, laughing out load.
Indy, glad she enjoyed it. You need to tell her that this is a serious matter. We might can apply for government assistance or some type of disability program. Just think of the underprivileged. Those who don’t have decent rods/reels. Those who have to work. Those who have the need to go fishing. Those who need a rod/reel in hand 24/7. There is still alot in denial of CFD. Those are the ones we have to help admit to their addictions. And besides, they might have some rods/reels we might can score on. hehe

couldnt stop the twitching and shakin, so i bought another rig this afternoon. going to christin (sp) it sunday. weather looks great. just one more day of work then those little fishies best beware.

izzy, my dad gave me a old penn longbeach reel to try. you know you have cfd real bad is when you block off a side street so you can pratice casting. I wouldn’t let the hanahan news paper lady through.

That is how I know I don’t have CFD. Because I have 3 children, 1 wife, and 2 dogs to feed.
I had a couple of broken rods to replace, and it took me two years to get it done 
If you don’t have it, you’re lucky not to have that monkey on your back. Count your blessings.
If you truly had CFD, you’d fish w/ the broken rods if it was all you had.
Indy, if the sun would’ve been out this morning it would’ve been kingtime. Water was almost perfect. Steven, never had to shut down a street to practice casting. Luckily, I have a vacant lot across the street and the lake to my left. Remo300, I have 3 kids and 3 dogs, 1 wife and 1 ex and I have CFD. As for the government CFD assistance program, just not any wanna be fisherman can walk in with a Zebco 202 and a bag of plastic worms and expect a check. We already have too much of that going on now. Those who are in excess need the most help. I’m already thinking about fishing next weekend.
