i sold another spinning outfit,(my last spinner).down to the big rig with the 10000,and a custom garcia 6-6 with the “whiting killer”(4500 narrow spool).not much of a pic huh?i am lookin for a couple of ambassadeurs though.a 7000 and a big A 5000 with some rods.where can i find a tsunami 10 ft baitcastin rod?looked on ebay for awhile,no luck.
Dang, it was a lot of work putting all this together. ran out of memory on the last pic. (can’t find my SD card) but got em all except 1.
Okay here we go.
And we cant forget someplace to store the rest of the stuff! this does not include ammo cans or storage containers!
now you understand why I work for a sporting goods store, EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT! I only work there to support my habit.

I have to go back and count em all but i think the total was 37, with one 7 foot solid glass 1 piece medium action casting rod in hiding. uuummmm, odd number, need another one to even things up.

Very nice. I like your wooden rod holder too. That must fill your garage.

HEE, HEE, rod racks are in my bedroom:smiley:

Do you keep them in your BR because keeping them in the garage is not good for them? Temp, humidity, ect.? Hope not. Mine are in the garage.
im building/buying a rod rack for the inside also, garages do take a small toll after awhile, like indy said, temp change, humidty, lotta factors can effect them after awhile

I wasn’t saying that it affected them, I was asking if it did. Mine are in the garage and I hope that’s an OK place to keep them
maybe over time in the garage I’m not sure, but the saltwater enviroment is much, much, harder on equipment than anything the garage will do to them.
I just keep em in the bedroom cuz i have unused corners and the ceiling is high enough on one side to keep the 11 footers assembled. don’t know if the 12’s will clear if in the rack.

sorry for the late response, was stuck at work all day saturday and fished all day sunday. (will post in inshore report). picked up a shimano spinning rig for trout and baitfish in surf. was able to christin it on a keeper trout sunday.
went grocery shopping with the wifey and actually didnt buy any tackle. im very ashamed[:I]
will post pics of rigs shortly.
keeper trout eh?
buy your rigs from “mojo” willy.
thats good.another satisfied customer.
didn’t mean to misquote you indy, sorry…
back in jersey tho, the garage really messed up some stuff, cos we had the dryer vent in the garage also, so in the winter, we had cold air, hot dryer air, huge temp changes, dew, all sorts of different things, but yeh, saltwater and sand is the worst. but i do believe (in my opinion) outside, or in a non ventilated garage, it does not help, but doesn;t hurt that bad. like most products that you care about and spend lots of money on, if you ever read directions they usually say, keep in warm, dry area…, now not all garages were like mine, so, use your best judgement

I believe you just might have given yourself a nickname. When you’re in the selling mood, it’s “Mojo Willy”.
yes sir, the mojo was def on that rod. was the first fish of the day. fish hit really soft and felt it easily.
“mojo” willy, i like it!
its all good.
im gonna mount a crystal ball to my fishin cart next.
Hey Willy, I actually have a crystal ball on my desk. Haven’t figured out how it works yet. It must be broken. Anyway, Here’s a couple of pics from yesterday. Bait-runner and I fished both days at Sullivans. My son and his girlfriend landed the big ones. RACRX changed my name to Surf Chick. Guess Bait-runner is gonna have to teach me to King Fish from the pier so I can go back to PierGirl.
PierGirl AKA Surf Chick
was just informed by my 5 year old daughter that she wants a fishing rod for christmas. when i politely told her she had a couple and didnt need another she corrected me, “but daddy, i dont have one of my own for the boat.” girl after my own heart. guess i need to hunt down another rig:smiley: gotta love CFD. looks like its spreading fast through the family tree!!
Sadly, CFD can strike at an early age. No cure, just treat the symptoms. Looks like you need to get her a fix.

bob is a good teacher surf-chick,and you i believe are the surf fisher person of the year on this forum.i think you have had more really good catches than any of us.especially for someone new to surf fishing.congrats, and while the pier is cool and all, please live up to your new name you have been given ans continue to surf fish.otherwise you may lose some of the “mojo” you obviously have.congrats to you.
