Looks like a good week to be fishing, sunshine most of the week, 70’s. I plan on fishing with you Fri. or Sat. depending on if I’m working, but I should be off those days.

I was hoping the weather would cooperate. Got a one year walk through on the house at 1PM Monday, other than that, I’m fishing.
i have not checked out weather reports yet. i’ll work on that later. i don’t trust weathermen. I don’t start putting things together till 48 hours ahead. but what i may see so far is building high press and maybe a warming trend. highs from the north bring cold air. highs from the west can be a good thing if tracking east or NE from a southerly direction. need to check for aproaching fronts also.
Fish tremble at the mention of my name.
Hopefully it will be unseasonably warm, and the fishing will be good.

Got my fix for the day. Went to Sully’s, fed the crabs. Left and went to the battery, fed crabs there. too. Weather was perfect, sunshine and warm, light breeze, water was clear. Just no bites. Did manage to get 1 legal blue crab, 2 small croaker and 1 10" whiting. Even put in a minnow trap, nothing. Saw a small school of them swimming by. Wasn’t that many people fishing, alot of tourist.

got my fix today, went to the new boaters world on daniel island. great store for the record. I know this is a saltwater site but the shellcrackers were hitting great today.
izzy, when you get a legal blue crab, try usin it for bait… the reds and bonnet heads LOVE them…
