I’m interested in recommendations for a contractor to pour a concrete patio approx 11 x 18 in back of our house, and probably some other stuff in front, like a walkway and slight widening of driveway.

Affordable Concrete, Doug Waring… I will get you his number when I get home this evening. He tore up my old driveway, hauled off debris and poured new triple the size I had and was about $3000 cheaper than the next lowest guy. It was about 3 years ago, still holding up great.

As an aside, have you thought about stamped concrete for the patio?
Another customer of ours did this for me…it’s obviously more expensive than just a regular finish, but it looks great and has held up well for 2 years so far.

Doug Waring. As others said, stand up guy, does great work. About half price of other quotes.
Here’s why: I don’t think he has a Chs business license. So he kinda works on the run and I ran into troubles with permitting.
But, I know people in high places thankfully. Might be fine in Berkeley Cty.
