Any reports from the rivers around Columbia yet?
Dogwoods are blooming[:0]
Its just been fishable the last couple of days. Last week water was only about 1’ from the top of the old locks…shouldn’t be long though.

Went last Sunday morning and caught one large mouth, one small mouth, and a striper. Water was high and muddy. Managed to find some clear water and that’s where the fish were caught.

Went Friday evening and managed one 28" just after dark up river on a glow paddletail. No other hits, activity, or other boats catching fish.
Still a little early I think.
A guy I know from work(he’s on 3rd shift) has gone the past couple of mornings and done pretty good. 20 yesterday and 35 today. Only 1 keeper, but he says they about wore him out. He puts in at the old State St. landing and catching down near the Eastman discharge. Throwing plastic shads & flukes.

Sounds like the bucks have made it up! Big females should’nt be far behind, just read that there was some good fish caught at Packs, down the river a ways. All the fish in the river up here seem to be bucks so far.
