Buddy Brewer was the winner of the HDS-12!
I want to tell a little pre-drawing story about Buddy winning the raffle.
Moments before the drawing, he walked up to me, and asked if I fished offshore any? I replied yes. It turns out Buddy remembered me from an offshore trip about ten years ago, on another fellow’s boat.
We got to talking about the Lowrance tech, and Buddy said he had just installed a 5" screen down scan unit on his boat. He said he had it for several months before he put it on. (I supposed he just could not stand to drill any more holes in his ride. 
)
He explained, that he had a older Garmin sonar that was still working, and he could just not “bear” to punt the unit while it was still going. I jokingly teased him about poor mouthing, but understood, because let’s face it the dang stuff doesn’t grow on trees.
After all of the night’s talk about side scan locating of bait, and keeping up with schooling fish when they went down, had him hooked I believe.
Little did we know, he was about to have to drill some more holes in his boat! 
Buddy…I swear if you let that thing stay in your closet for months before putting it on your boat…I might just come strangle you myself!
Congrats on winning it sir…I dare say your fishing will improve if you take the time to learn it. It has definitely changed the way I think to find them now.
