Just curious how some of you organize your console for offshore fishing in smaller center consoles. Hooks to hang stuff, shelfs, storage, equipment, etc? Any pictures of a perfectly organized cockpit from a captain who has many trips offshore in his wisdom and doesnt mind sharing is greatly appreciated.
Really, Captain Ronno??

My console consists mainly of terminal tackle such as swivels, lead and such. I keep my crimping kit in there…some big king Wahoo lures…etc…Really tho…most of my stuff comes on and off the boat. We bring all of our islanders, sea witches, etc off the boat. We wash them off, and they are ready to be pre rigged the night before, and then set on the trey in the bait cooler. I will keep extra sea witches and spools of line in the console. One problem if you store your boat outdoors is condensation and moisture rusting your metal stuff up that you leave on the boat. Its a pain but I move a lot of stuff on and off the boat. The tackle just lasts longer that way it seems. I keep it all in a cart…with the boat keys in there so I can’t forget any of the good stuff.
