At first glance, I thought it was a weather worn boat cushion that had blown out of someone’s boat. It floated right to my boat, so I dipped it up with my net. Curiously, I took a filet knife and cut into it. Surprise!!!

Yeah, better turn it in, someone who you told the story to or posting it online and all of a sudden you could have the cops breaking down your door, and charging you in possession with a felony. Take it straight to the police station.

Oh, I remembered Ben Franklin’s words, “Three people can keep a secret…if two of them are dead.” I knew to turn in and and get a receipt before I posted any photos of it. I call the receipt my “Get Out of Jail Free” pass.

It was not in Charleston. It was packed pretty well. When I opened it, the contents did not seem to have been affected by the water.
