controls for a 1994 60hp evinrude?

Any suggestions for new or better controls for a 1994 evinrude? I have a set of side mount that came with the motor, but they are rough… thanks

hard to beat the factory controlls, you probably just need new cables. Worse comes to worse, I have a side mount laying around somewhere

I bought a new set of controls, and an adapter. Going to get new cables now, and a new steering cable. Might as well eliminate as much going out as I possibly can.

Thanks man. I always appreciate your advice. I know it was a little pricey, but i’d hate to get out and have to get towed because of a crappy cable. thanks guys.
