I have a 15’ Wilderness Systems Seacret w/rudder. I purchased it new in '96 and it is still in great shape. I would like any tips on converting it into a stealth shallow water fishing vessel.
I do have rubber paddle/rod holder set up as well as a flush mount rod holder behind the cockpit and rear storage hatch.
I failed to mention that the seacret is a sit-in kayak.
Does anyone have experience with the enclosed kayaks as a fishing boat. Is it more efficient to just bite the bullet and start with a sit on top?

Take a look at my post on the other thread. add a scotty base up front our a couple of flush mounts behind the seat and go fishing. I spent winter before last in a Dagger Edisto. Great boat, fast, pretty stable, and easy to wash off the fish slime.
