cooper 8/13

thought id try the cooper a bit before going to work at 3 and picked up a nice flounder and missed what felt like either a nice trout or bluefish (jigging), however the suprise of the morning was seeing a manatee swim under the pier right below me. ive been here since jan 2011 and thats definately the first one ive seen in the wild. i see dolphins and gators almost every time…so im guessing thats a pretty rare sight?

I have seen them twice in Shem Creek. Both times, someone was spraying them with fresh water…which is what attracts them but is also illegal. They are a wonderful sight.

I saw one in Clouter creek right under 526 a month ago it was an awesome sight ! We were hiding from the rainand i saw its huge back then tail ! I had never seen one in the wild before

19’ Cobia bay

they love freshwater and will drink from a gardenhose for an hour. chemicals in the water prob arnt good for them but the stuff we dump in the river cant be any better

They are in and out of Shem Creek pretty regularly seems like. Also see them by Drum island, Crab Bank, and up the Wando from time to time.

The worse the society, the more law there will be. In Hell there will be nothing but law, and due process will be meticulously observed.
