Last few times I’ve been out has not been worth posting but today the trout bite was hot. Tried a new spot on down past Goose Creek. Started throwing a VuDu shrimp and was quick to find a fat trout. Pushed down the creek and found a few more. The bite seem to vanish quickly until I changed up to paddler(chicken on a chain). Picked a dink off on the 2nd cast. After that nothing for awhile so I switched back to the VuDu shrimp. I must say the VuDu shrimp are really tough. I boated at least 5 or so and missed a few with the same one and never had a scratch. My buddy was having a bad day with finding fish. He did boat 1 on a live MM. He was throwing a lot of different artificials with lots of bites but no hook ups. Water temp was 52 and clear.
