Cooper River

Fished incoming tide Friday with live finger mullet managed 2 keeper reds and 1 flounder, along with a 17 inch tagged red that I released. Been here at Murrels for the weekend and the weather kinda kicked out but son managed the only keeper black drum. Tons of pins and croakers. Have the week off and headed back home to the cooper brother in town so hoping to send him back to Michigan with a cooler full.

Good catching!

The key to the Charleston push is to get your fingers underneath the fish so we can’t see them that well. Extend the arms out to where we can’t see the elbows and then the fish goes from looking like a slotty to state record!
