Cooper River

Planning on fishing the Cooper out of Bushy Park this weekend. Looking for tips on how far down I should go. Normally fish across from the prototype sub.

I have noticed that the fish seem to still be in 6-10 feet in the main creeks and rivers. I would not venture to far up the smaller feeder creeks yet. I have been doing well with the Zman TRD and smaller Trick Shotz around docks and structure.

Good luck!

What he said!

There are fish stacked up from that back of the creeks to the main river. Just sometimes we get lucky and they are there at the same time we are looking for them.

Also, try what\where you usually do and if that doesn’t work try something new. Change things up and have some fun. Post up how you did because I am living vicariously right now through you guys! I probable wont get on the water for a couple more weeks unfortunately!

Appreciate the info and tips. I will definately let ya’ll know how it goes, hopefully with some pics of fish!

Yeah…about those fish pics…be prepared to be met by the local fish pic police and you may even encounter the full blown anti-fish pic protesters. Good luck and welcome!
