Left bushy park around 7am with the depth finder reading between 1’ and .6. Not feeling too confident my son insisted on giving it a try. We made it out thankfully ran further up the river to aro the don holt. Fished for 2-3 hours with nothing but top water and gulp shrimp under a popping cork. Caught more keeper size trout than I can remember. Water temp was 70 on the dot. Back at home and getting ready for work by 1130. Nice day with my boy who’s going to college early in July.

Sounds like a good day to me as well, congrats! That landing just keeps getting worse and worse too… seems like they’ll never get around to alleviating any of its issues either

Yea I stay on D about being grounded. Easy to get caught up in your own hype. We go to Miami next weekend for a few days and while we’re there we’ll hopefully get to check out his dorm.
