I went out to Copahee Sound area, mainly stayed north of it, but was doing some scouting. I have not fished out my kayak very much in the winter months. I usually jump on a boat if I can. My goal was to go after some schools of reds. After reading Henny’s post and seeing how small of a creek he has been catching fish in, my plan was just that. I hit every single nook and cranny looking for a school. NADA, nothing, zilch, zambonie…I saw nothing. No swirls, no nervous water, no fish working the bank. I saw a ton of those underwater ducks. Frustrating day, but it was nice and quiet out there today. I only saw 2 boats working the actual sound, but didn’t see either hook up.
Until next time
