COPAHEE EARLY SATURDAY 5/24

Heading out early Saturday if anyone wants to join. There is a .71 low tide at 5:20am and a 4.11 high at 11:21. Plan to be in the water just after 6 and try some artificial then work the edge of the grass flat when the tide comes in.

I may make it if I can get my butt out of bed that early. That is a long ride from Goose Creek.

Not too bad if you come down 42 to 41…

I was thinking 26/526/long point. That is the route for when we head to Moores landing.

What do ya think of the logo? There may be a few copyright issues in it…

Bryan,

Sounds like a good schedule; a yellow Heritage Redfish and I will meet you around six am.

Lewis

Looking at this weather now…it looks like it may be nasty tomorrow. May be best to check again this evening or first thing tomorrow. I live just over a mile from Copahee so I can check it in the morning. My cell is 270-5846 if you need it.

Your call; my # is 919 619 1092.

I’m gonna load up and go in the morning anyways…like I said I only live about a mile from the landing. If it looks nasty I can always go home and watch it on tv.

It was pretty out, the company was good (thanks John and Lewis) but couldn’t get the fish to bite. Saw a couple schools and there was no lack of baitfish. Think we saw Timbuck2 out there, maybe he did some good???

Great morning on the water. Bryan, thanks for putting it together.

Tarpon and friends,
Had my daughter out for the first time today. We did find a couple o’reds.
First one was a 29" 10lbs little pig. Bout scared the girl away from fishin forever. She’s used to seeing little fish up close, not that. Missed one a while later, and landed one dinner model to close it out.
Nice day one the water. :sunglasses:

Jimmy Buffett can have Margaritaville, I’m going to Redfishville!

I had a good time out there and met a couple good fellow yak fishers as well. No fish, but I did manage to catch a nice sunburn on my shins though (even after sunblock).

My wife just took the kayak with her friends to go have some fun today, so no fishing for my today. Probably just as well with the numbr of wa-hoos sure to be out and about today.
