Copahee Sound Trip
Thursday weather was perfect / tide was perfect
Had a great Kayak Paddling day I should stop my report at that!
My son David used live bait shrimp + some small Mullet caught with cast net. Using a float with only about 1 to 11/2ft of leader under it in mostly shallow water. He caught 4 slot sized reds, three small sharks and no trout.
I on the other hand determined to use only Z-Man, Gulp + DOA didnt fare so well with only one red 15 and a trout 141/2
Very Dirty water conditions didnt help, normally incoming tide water is cleaner but not after the wind and rain we had earlier in the week. Sight casting was impossible.
All fish released alive.
