I just got my yak a couple weeks ago and have not had it out yet. This sounds like an opportunity to have some experienced yak fishermen around while I give it a try. What time will people be going?

paddled my redfish all the way to yellowhouse creek with only 1 nice trout and missed a flounder today.
I should be there at about 6:30 myself. Hopefully, the beer wears off by then.

took big brother and he couldn’t hang all day (left about 1pm). I ended with 2 trout, 1 flounder, 4 bluefish, 1 ray. Not bad… we got up close with some porpoises and sharks in shallow water.
Got lost multiple times on way back. I think Scot and crew is still out there, might make it back sometime tomorrow:smiley:
think I will take a map next time.
Glade to see you made it back. I was a little worried you guys got caught by the falling tide. We all made it back about 2:00pm. I ended the day skunked. Too bad, but it was again a great day. Thanks to everyone for the good day, and I hope to fish with you all again.
Ended up with two decent trout and a 2.5 lb red. My friend caught two trout as well. Pretty slow, jlumb ,5151, and cutmullet I enjoyed hope to do it again soon.

I couldn’t make it… came down with a bad cough and fever Saturday morning, still fighting the ■■■■ thing. What baits were working best on Saturday? I normally throw a combination of live shrimp and minnows and frozen finger mullet cut in half, the cut finger mullet has been nailing the most fish lately for me.

Trout were caught on grubs, red on mud minnow. Chartreuse paddle tail and smoke shrimposter.
