Copahee Sunday Oct 1 Anyone Going???

I’m interested in checking out Copahee Bay for the first time tomorrow, Sunday October 1st. Any advice as to how soon after the 8:52AM low tide of +1.0 you can launch a kayak from the Copahee Landing? Is anyone else interested in fishing Copahee on Sunday?

Thanks

Bob H.

SF, the put-in is out of water at low tide. The creek does have a hard bottom so you can drag your yak without to much of a problem.
Great place for a yak!
A couple of us will be out there around noon tomorrow

Hey Mud

Thanks for the advice. I did scope out the Copahee landing last week at low tide by car only, hence my question about a low tide launch. I hope to put in around 10AM tomorrow. I’ll be in a yellow yak in case you see me.

Hey SF, I’ll be in a tan tarpon 140 and 5151 will be in a… well I don’t want to say,…he seems to have a new yak each week.

He is is a great guy to buy a used boat from though.

Hello guys,
Have any of y’all ever hunted marsh hens near that landing?
Have you ever tried hunting marsh hens from your kayak?
It looks like a pretty good spot.
I know this isn’t fishing related; please forgive.
Thanks,
