copahee Sunday?

Anyone want to take a chance on the weather? I think lowtide will be around 8:30, might want to get out there before sunrise.

I think we could get some fishing before the bad weather. 6 in the morning would probaly be a good time if you still want to go.

I will be out there about 6 am. Tproud78 tried you # but all I get is an answer machine.

See ya then. think I will bring a poncho:smiley:

I will be out there by 6, probably earlier.

Sorry about the phone, it sucks…

Fish is a 4-letter word…

Just talked to Beerbuzz and he’s gonna tag along. Just a thought, but with a little rain and 10-15 wind, might want to pack a raincoat… possible get a bit chilly.

How’d ya’ll do ?

slow slow slow…cutmullet caught a 27" or something redfish. That was about it. Young guy, “fishless” reeled in about a 20" trout while we were standing on the hill stretching our legs. Another guy in a yak from Georgia fishing with us, Tom, was still out when we left. Maybe he found the bite.?

thanks again for the fish on the last trip beerbuzz…that pic of you/trout/pretty girl cracked me up…hope to fish with ya’ll soon!!:sunglasses:

Everything looked promising… except the dirty water. Lots of bait, crashes, low wind… just didn’t produce.
as the tide was rising saw a few tails in shallow and got lucky with one.

Ron, Scott and Matt, thanks for letting me tag along. Other then the nice ladyfish, I ended up catching a handful of small trout, mostly on Gulp. Spooked a few reds back in the thick stuff but no takers. Had a great time and can’t wait to go again!

I went out yesterday and landed a few, with the largest being a touch over 35".

The thing was a certified water pig.
Life was good :stuck_out_tongue:

I was looking for you to let you know they were hitting. I couldn’t even see you when standing up in the yak. You paddle much faster than me. I feel bad the 27" spot we talked about was the 4th smallest of the day :sunglasses: But I did have 3 other rigs out in the water, and 4 of 5 fish hit in the same spot, same rig. Nothing on the other ones in a 75’ radius. Last fish was during a quick stop while paddling home. Coulda just brought one rig out and not wasted bait.
