Hitting Copahee in the morning 6:30-7ish if anybody wants to meet up see ya there
If you call my boss in the morning and explain why I not there…then sure I’ll fish with ya.
Might have plans to fish else where this weekend, if not I wouldn’t mind hitting Copahee this weekend.

Mud I maybe going again Sat to take my daughters boy friend out he really wants to go fishing, cutmullet mentioned something about going on the beach but I wasnt sure where. I am off until the 27th so give me a shout.
Fishhunter go thru Charleston on HWY 17 thru MT Pleasant keeping going 7-8 miles on 17n turn at the brown Copahee Access sign ( right)
I hit Copahee last weekend. The sign for Copahee Landing was almost completely knocked down due to a vehicle accident of some type. The Gadsdenville street/road sign was gone too. This is going northbound on HWY 17.
So the turn is going to be easy to miss for first timers. I missed the turn myself after being there 5 or 6 times.
For anyone going for the first time, the turn to Copahee is about 6 to 7 miles north on HWY 17 from the road/turn to IOP on HWY 17. At the turn for Copahee, HWY 17 starts to curve to the left.

Wow, DOT seemed to of worked fast…signs back up. Looks like someone hit the ditch pretty hard.
Wish the fish where hitting that hard, got out there at low tide and didn’t catch anything until late in the day. Three reds and two trout(the trout where in the creek).

man ive been sick all week all these reports from copahee are killing me. im off thursday threw sunday this week anyone want to fish? starting next monday ill be in sea school for 2 weeks so want be able to get out for a while.

5151…,sorry… nothing on the fly, worked it hard. The chichen got all the fish just off the hammock just down from the landing.

Mud I didnt see any fish either when I got up on the edge before leaving, not like Saturday, I guess the change in weather kept them off or they moved up later in the tide.
yeah mike im taking the 6 pak great to see someone from the board will be there to. you fishing any this weekend before class im thinking about hitting copahee and trying the fly rod a bit.

No, i wish I could but im in NC right now and I have to work on Fri, Sat, and Sun to make up for the time im up here. So by the end of this class I will be goin out of my mind, im used to fishing 2 or 3 days a week, i dont know if I can make it that long without wetting a line. However i will be fishing some trout water while im up here. Ill see you in the class, ill be the big goofy one in the back who is completely lost the entire time
