that is s good example of why you dont pick up a dead poisionus snake until long after it is dead. I have alway heard,from reliable sources, that a snake could still bite you with his head cut off but I had never seen it.

I killed one in my brother’s driveway about two weeks ago. My brother was standing about a foot away from it in flip-flops when I saw it.
Who knew I could have made a cool YouTube video with it? It kept opening its mouth like it was trying to bite.
They’re fine when they’re out in the woods doing their own thing. When they make their way onto our driveways and yards, it’s always going to be lights out for Mr Copperhead.
