Public land is different. I personally don’t have a problem with folks baiting on public land. But the potential for turf wars rises dramatically if you do. Remember when there was no season or rules about shrimp baiting and shrimpers left their poles out all the time and if you went near them it would be big trouble. I can see same thing if baiting was allowed on public grounds. Imagine someone hunting over another hunter’s corn pile and they both have guns.

Hunting, fishing, and poker are my sports. Work when necessary.

No doubt, human nature would take over if someone was spending money to bait an area and someone else started using said area. Never good to mix anger with someone carrying a firearm. Glad we have our DNR agents, wish we could afford more.

so after thinking about it i might of grabbed a couple ears and stuck them on his climber. everyones right we dont want to encounter someone breaking the rules. so what did you do AU?
