Just picked up best corn ever. $8bag. None dried out. bags over 70#
College park road a couple miles off I-26 on left.
From what I’m seeing gonna be some bumper corn crops this year. Was just talking with my son in law and he’s been getting some good pics. Got one crazy big six point… wide and super tall with no brow tines and very heavy bodied.
I can’t believe how quick the season is creeping up!!
Far from a bumper crop of corn, looks ok but the dry spell hurt yield. That being said, if your getting cob corn now you better put it out before it starts to mold because the moisture is going to be pretty high.

We never really got dry around the yemassee area. Might have some issues getting some harvested due to it being so wet…
I certainly agree with you on the mold due to high moisture content in it right now.
Putting cornout today assuming I can get to all locations.

Shocked that my property was not underwater. The food plots look bad even though soil has right amount of moisture. This is the first year that we ran the tractor over the seed after we planted it to cover it up a little. Maybe the seed is too deep. Found one spot where deer tracks are all over the place.
This year I am only corning 3 areas to condense traffic. I only corned 2 so far as big tree over road to 3rd one. Still optimistic about opening day.

Heard you drug a log back to Charleston with you…
Were you watching it?

Nope, heard it through the grape vine.
