I have used the Penn spray for a long time…seems to work well for me…

I use Corrosion X in the bearings.

I use that stuff on everything, reels included.

Seriously, it works on a LOT of things and a can goes a LONG way. I spray a lot of parts on my rig every year with the red can. It’s awesome on electronics…

Rocket Fuel for bearing lube. Or Hot Sauce.

I corrosion hd the full outside of my reels, emptied my spools and applied corrsion hd the spools and respooled. Reeled over 5000yds. I got a combo from the swap shop for beach kayak trolli g this summer and Unspooled it and put corrosion hd on it and it cleaned up the corrison pretty good and i was only putting it on it to stop further corrosion. My first impression is its good stuff. I will update about it in a couple months.

CorrosionX is good stuff. I’ve also been using QSalt which has proven to bee just as good. You can’t put a price on protecting your rig and gear.

corosion hd stains yellow. boeshield does not. dont know about corosion X. jan

I have used Corrosion X for years and it is very good for tackle, under the engine cowling, electronics and all your boat electrical connections.

I don’t think Corrosion HD is really suitable for your tackle but I use it on my trailer as it stays on longer.

I’ve used Salt-X for many years on tackle & boat and have been happy with it. Not sure how similar it is to Corrosion X.
