Looks like we are heading to Costa Rica in March. Anyone have any suggestions for charters?

I’ve used Costa Rica Dreams at Los Suenos a few times and have been very satisfied with them. Never caught so many sailfish in my life:sunglasses:

Do you have a destination in mind or just going to wherever the fish/recommended boats are?

Not really sold on any one area, like you said, more where the better bite is.

Its hard to beat Quepos in Feb and March.You could have chances at over 20 sails a day! We saw over a hundred in a day on one trip!

Call the guys on the Sea Fix, They are a local boat over there. They caught 51 sails in 3 days this past weekend in one of the big tourmanemts there. finished 4th over all. Capt John Thomas and mate John Crislip are a top notch crew with a killer boat. I dont have a number off hand but if interested PM me or call me and I can hook you up with them 843 327 7563. Super cool guys! They are out of Los Suenos (spell check) if that new where you’re gonna be.

There was 1409 sailfish caught in the 1st leg of the los suenos billfish tourney. There was 38 boats that fished 3days.
That’s impressive. We leave saturday and well be fishing 2 days out of quepos on the stress reliver. I’ll post a report when we get back on feb 9. You can look up his website www.queposfishadventure.com I’ve got 6 boats booked through him and he was real helpful.
