I am getting a new pair of Costas. What is the best lenses (color and finish) for inshore fishing?

Doesn’t rapchizzle have a pair for sale with these lenses? The blackfins he had are my favorite because they cover your eyes completely. I see things that others on my boat don’t even with them wearing Costas. They are in the swap shop posting. I’ve considered them several times, but already have 2 pair.

Just a tip. Consider the shape of the glasses and how they will work for you when running on the water. I love mine, but when I’m running my boat they push back on my eyes due to the smaller lens. I wish I had considered that more. Absolutely love them when it comes to fishing, though!

what ever finish and style you go with, I highly suggest the 580 lenses. Definitely worth the extra money.
Why the green? The amber lense aren’t very dark, I prefer the blue/gray lense when it’s sunny out. Get two pair and wear the green ones when it’s overcast. But again I am no professional.

580 glass seems to scratch more then the poly also and are heavier but the view is the most clear you can buy…so its a personal prefference

I have the 400G Green Lens and they work great for me inshore, offshore and freshwater. Highly suggest Costas
Not sure if you’re looking at anything other than Costa’s…but i’ve had several pairs of Costa and recently bought a pair of Maui Jim’s…probably won’t buy another pair of costas again…but that’s just my preference.

another vote for 580 green.
For me, the plastic lenses seem to be more prone to scratches, but they won’t shatter like the glass lenses if you drop them.

Everyone is saying twice the price “green 580,” anyone have plastic and glass to say the price difference it’s worth it?
BG
I have had both. The price difference is certainly worth it in terms of cutting glare, scratch resistance, and color separation which really helps when sight fishing. If you aren’t one going out onto the flats or searching for bait on a regular basis, the poly lenses should be more than enough.
