Counting Sheeps

I was able to make it out a couple of days this week to fish just now getting around to posting a report.

On sunday afternoon I took a friend out in search of some sheepshead.(My new favorite species to fish for!) We found a few around mostly small but ended up with about 12 total and a couple of them were keepers one was 15" the other 16.5". We were in 10 to 15 feet of water using fiddler crabs and oysters.

I talked my neighbor into going out again today. We fished with fiddlers and oysters in about 16’ of water. The bite was slow, strong currents and HIGH water. We were persistant and fished around with no luck. We decided to switch things up and go try to round up a few trout. We tossed a trout trick for about two hours and only caught two small trout fishing was tough today. We headed back for some sheeps now that the water had setteled down SOME. We were able to catch 12 before sunset three were keepers 15", 16.5" and my personel best 20" had a great time as always and hope to get out again tomorrow if I can make it happen.
