Launched the boat around noon after a laid back morning and headed out to the jettys. In the first throw of the cast net loaded up on 4" menhaden, found them between Ft Sumter and the north end of Morris. Anchored up on the rocks and commenced to fish on the bottom with carolina rigs. Had two decent size trout and several bonnet head and sharpnose sharks. No reds. Around 430pm we ran the buoys out to 10 and 11 looking for a cobia but to no avail. Saw several smaller schools of large spanish popping up in the channel but they never stayed up for long. The barracuda have also made their appearance.
