DNR has a bounty program, but it’s a waste of time and money. The “tagged” yotes they turn loose have to be immunized and spayed/ neutered. The State would be better off teaching folks how to properly set leg holds,the most effective way of ridding the non-indigenous pest.
The answer to the second post is yes,they’re trying to kill OUR animals,as whitetail deer belong to all residents of South Carolina.I only maintain the herd that resides on my property,and I take great pleasure in shooting a yote in between the eyes. The yote in one picture I posted was looking in my chicken coop a day earlier, so yes,he was trying to kill MY pets.
Some folks try chasing them around all hours of the night,I get more of them while I’m sleeping,that’s how I maintain my good looks.
Why in hell do you kill them:question: They have every reason to be here, just like you do! Only reason to kill them, is if they were killing your animals, or you just like killing! Nature, will take care of the population! Just like nature, took care of dumb azz Democrats! I don’t kill anything I don’t plan to eat! Even then, I have to be hunting for dinner! Easy… I pretty much agree with you on most stuff… this time NO WAY. I can not agree with you. Coyotes were never native to S.C. and all need to die… any way possible. Leg traps and a bullet to the head or poison and let them rot. To heck with all Coyotes in S.C.

Any man that can kill as many coyotes as you have has some pretty good qualities… and also that nice walk in freezer is pretty sweet. I’ve been planning mine for a bit now after you pictured yours. I’d love to have the time to do a few 50-50 deer wild hog sausage grinds after hanging for a few days.
