Left Shem Creek near the end of the outgoing tide. Made the short crossing to the crab bank. Fished the near side of the island and caught one trout on a MM under a float. Paddled up toward the east end looking for flounder. Didn’t manage to land any but we saw several along with some large rays. We paddled around the point and down the harbor side. It was a little rough but still fun. Ended up at the west end and fished the drop. Managed a Trash-fish trifecta with a stingray, Ladyfish and Sea Robin. We had a few showers and picked up to head in when we saw lightning in the distance. Just landed at the ramp when the skies opened up around 3:30.
Pretty sure I saw you JP when I was in my boat headed out of Shem. We were following the Sea Tow guy out and he was blowing his horn at people so my buddy on my boat was acting like an ass.

Next time y’all go let me know. I would love to join. Also if y’all have a deepcycle, I have mutliple lights and we can do some flounder gigging with the kayak. FYI to anyone; I would love to trade a gigging trip for a show me how to catch anything but trash fish trip…
