Shrimped Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Baited poles after low tide just before sunset each nite. Friday - Started running poles at 7:30 PM, full cooler by 10:00 PM. Saturday - Started running poles at 7:30 PM, zero shrimp on first four poles then someone hit a switch and we had 1/2 a cooler by pole #10 and filled up the cooler on the next run finishing at 8:30 PM. Sunday - A bit more windy - started running poles at 7:30 PM, again zero shrimp on first four poles then they hit on pole 5. Not as plentiful as Saturday, and we ended up with 7/8 cooler at about 9:30 PM when the appeared to tail off and were coming in mostly small. Shrimp were mixed but there were a lot of large ones.
2-7/8 coolers over 3 days is pretty dern good…thanks for the report…

Thanks. We got another cooler full last night (Monday) in 30 minutes in one run past the poles on the last of the falling tide again starting at 7:30 PM when the sun was low enough for it to be dark to the shrimp. I was pulling in a couple of pounds of shrimp per cast. It was crazy. We ran the poles a second time to give shrimp to a neighboring couple and ended up giving them about 1/2 a cooler worth of shrimp.
Good report!

All at Crab bank? I’m thinking of hitting the Ashley a little bit but wasn’t sure of any positive reports that way.
Terp, let me know if you need a driver or thrower or some company next time! Unfortunately had to sell my boat earler this year when i moved.
